Le Toy Van Petilou Sensory Shapes – Our Favourite Toy

We have been really lucky to try out various ranges of baby toys over the last two years.

The Le Toy Van ‘Petilou Sensory Shapes‘ have to be my favourite in terms of design. In fact I would say this is my ultimate favourite toy. The old fashioned wooden painted toys just have something special about them.

Le Toy Van ‘Petilou’ Sensory Shapes

I love all things traditional and this beautiful sensory set has served us very well for both girls. I will say the set I thought was almost ‘too nice’ to be played with and for the first six months of us owning it.

The Blocks have various sensory effects

I constantly found myself not wanting to let the girls bang the blocks together, I know that’s ridiculous but they are just beautifully painted.
Finally I gave in and the box are regularly downstairs with the girls for playtime and I have to say they still look brand new.

Stacking Blocks

Both Leia and Kaia love them and they are just gorgeous with so many different uses.
Most blocks are touchy feely with bells, reflectors and plushys for the babies to explore. I find them utterly¬†adorable and they would look perfect displayed in baby’s nursery.

Each of the 9 blocks has a different sensation, jingle bells, kalediscope & even a bunny fluffy tail on the pink block.

These would make the PERFECT Christmas present!

Have you got a favourite brand of toy? Do you prefer wooden or more modern toys?
