Since having Kaia I have become more aware about the clothes I am buying for both girls. Kaia has really sensitive skin and I feel better knowing more detail about the clothes I put her in. I love anything organic so when I found the cute clothing brand ‘Boy & Bird’ I jumped at the chance for us to be able to review a dress.
We chose to review a sleeveless blue feather print dress which is just effortlessly gorgeous.
I knew I would love the dress the second I saw the example that the mummy behind the business, Ellie posted a pic of her 2 year old daughter in a similar dress.
The dress arrived to Kaia packaged well in tissue paper with a Boy & Bird sticker to seal.
On opening the dress the first thing I noticed was actually the labels, I love that a sizing label was sewn in, that to me is so important as you quickly forget what size things are without that (I’ve not really seen those labels much with handmade items, if you haven’t guessed I buy lots).
First impressions were the dress just looked pretty, simple and made perfectly.
Clearly the first thing to do is put it on the lady in question, my 9 month old!
The dress fits her literally like a glove, it feels comfortable and it’s perfect for spring/summer but you could also layer the dress as the winter months approach with tights and perhaps a Peter Pan collar underneath.
For us though it’s perfect for her trying to walk around as I’m trying to keep her feet unrestricted so she can cruise more.
Overall I think the dress is beautiful, It feels and looks like we will get lots of wear out of it and it will wash up well.
I would definitely recommend you checking them out, their little harems look gorgeous!

I purchased the dress as a product tester in exchange for clear photos and an honest review
